I installed the latest nvidia drivers first, then let windows update take care of the rest - as I've done when I built and set up this machine initially. Also, Lossless isnt very reliable and does crash OBS now and then. Running OBS as admin was NOT necessary last week, everything ran fine. Running OBS as admin does fix the issue but I'm still encountering some stuttering with my FaceCam (Elgato FaceCam Pro), so something is very fishy. This has not happened before my clean win11 install (win11 previously as well) and no hardware changes have taken place whatsoever. Activating replay buffer is not an issue but once I hit my hotkey to save a replay I get a small window "recording error" and OBS instantly freezes and crashes to desktop about 3 seconds later. I did a fresh windows install on the weekend (no real issues, just wanted to have everything fresh since this PC is barely 2 months old and a lot of software has been installed and deinstalled for testing purposes). All audio, mic and all stream audio via GoXLR, and my game audio coming in via an Elgato capture card (2nd PC), turns into a robot voice. However it is still not usable as long as it causes crashes. Thank you all for your help, tried everything I found out in the last 2 days and yeah c: The key simply saves buffer, waits, stops buffer, waits, then starts the buffer again. btw not my stream settings, got a different profile for that of course and one for normal recording, which I would like to be like this settings but with an output res of 2560x1440 and 60 (or 120) FPS.
